My heart is breaking, because I don't understand why,
so many people had to die.

This horrific deed done by ungodly men.
but they'll get theirs, we just don't know when.

My heart is breaking, seeing all the tears,
of families searching for loved ones, of their fears.

All of the suffering we're made to see,
This painfull thing done by an enemy.

My heart is breaking, because all I can do is pray,
and I do that many times a day.

I thank God for our brave firemen, police and volunteers.
Digging, hopeing, praying, many in tears.

My heart is breaking, to think that some one had the audacity,
to think that we would crumble, fall to our knees.

But all they did was make this country stronger,
and in a very short time they will be no longer.
