Jerry is the daughter of Johnnie & Grace Frye, another coal miners daughter. She lived at MacBeth and graduated 8th
grade elementary from Dehue school in 1943.

She married Billy Eugene Hager from Logan.
She worked at Franklins Dairy (which is now called Yesterday's Diner) in Logan, WV
during her high school years.

Jerry said it was the only way she could
have things the other kids took for granted,
like socks and notebook paper, etc..
